I have always felt a kinship with Native Spiritual Teachings. In my twenties, when I went to my first drum-making workshop and heard, felt, and experienced a Six-Direction prayer in the Lakota spiritual tradition, I came home to the deepest, most comfortable resting place in my being. For several years thereafter my spirituality blossomed through sweatlodge purification ceremonies, traditional singing, and community talking stick circles, learning the old way from spiritual teachers who welcome all races to their teachings.

     In November I started offering this way of praying, this way of listening to one another and sharing our hearts through Gaia Spirit Circles. If you are interested in attending a Gaia Spirit Circle, please call me at 847-869-6477.
     I have also recently joined the Green Ministry at the Center for Spiritual Living in Chicago. We are working on creating an event this Fall around a screening of “The 11th Hour,” a film narrated by Leonardo di Caprio. We are educating our spiritual community and inspiring everyone to realize our oneness with Nature and All Our Relations.
